10. Azumanga daioh
This anime was pure absurdity. I don’t even remember if had any truly serious parts in it but it was funny all in all. The reason that it was only ranked #10 is because though it was cute, it wasn’t really enough to make laugh til my stomach hurted, smile? Yes but laugh? No. Do give it a try though because everyone’s opinion on funny is different. I’m just not really into those fluffy, childish, pointless comedies because the jokes are not really my style. No offence to anyone. This is just my opinion
9. Seto no Hanayome
This was a extremely childish and cliché anime but was a worthwhile comedy at the same time. The comedy doesn't dull through out the whole anime so that was something that held your attention throughout the whole thing, can't say the same thing about the plot though. I felt that the melodramatic plot kinda got in the way of the comedy. This was one of the comedies that had me laughing while I watched it but thinking back at it now, i can't really define what is was about it that had me laughing......but it did and that's all it matters. right? Overall, Do not watch this anime if you are looking for good drama, This anime is good for laughs only!!!!
8. Yakitate! Japan
You’ve gotta admit. Pretty amazing for a show about bread! The comedy in this series is mostly parodies and puns, funny at first but later on, it becomes a little stale. This anime only focused on putting in joke after joke while the characters remained two dimensional. I think that’s what made this anime less than what it could have been. Overall, still pretty funny…how all the characters took that baking tournament sooo seriously, like it was a fight to the death or something….hehe…..yea
7. The Wallflower
Hilarious anime! No doubt something worth watching. One thing that really really really bugged me though was the guys’ faces! Omg they looked like girls!!!!! Ok, well anyway, If you liked Ouran high school host club, then you will most definitely like this anime as well. Don’t get fooled by the faces of they guys. It is a funny anime. Watch it and you will know what I mean.
6. Abenobashi
Another parody anime!!! I don’t know what is with me and parodies but I just think they are hilarious…most of the time. This anime was so, so funny and original. When I saw some of the funny scenes, I was like WOW, never seen this before. I didn’t finish this series yet but you can know what to expect…AWESOMENESS!!! Maybe when I finish this series,I can rank it higher..hmmmm
5. Ouran High School Host Club
This show is mostly about rich kids and their hilariously absurd understanding of not so rich people or in their words. a "commoner". This anime gets to the point rather quickly. Everything is established in the first episode so you can get hooked right away. This is one of those animes that don't really go anywhere but will keep you laughing the whole way through.
4. Fruits basket.
This is a halarious anime with very light plot and funny moments in every episode. All the Characters are just so damn wierd and different from each other that it makes you think "how is it possible that they come from the same family?" whenever there are at least two characters together, you can just expect something wild to happen. Overall, this anime is just way too innocent and wierd (melodramatic at the end in a really stupid way) to be one that will be remembered for generations to come but it will definatly get you in a good mood and rolling of the edge of your seat when you want a break from all that hardcore stuff.
3. Honey and Clover
This comedy has a great plot unlike some shows that just try too hard to be funny. It mainly focuses on developing the characters and giving you a slice of their life while delivering just the right amount of funny at the same time but not with out a sense of seriousness when there has to be. Watching this can make you cry and laugh in the same episode....mostly laugh though. And who could possibly forget that twister game?..not me :)
2. Full metal Panic Fumoffu
You put an elite military maniac (sousuke)and a normal high school girl (Kaname)together and BAMM!! You have Full Metal Panic Fumoffu. Sousuke and his uptight attentiveness, always looking out for "danger", blowing up lockers expecting a bomb (this was all due to his war filled childhood) and then you have kaname, a normal high school girl. what more can I say. She always has to make up for for sousuke's lack of common sense. This is the third season of the Full Metal panic series and is more easygoing than it's action packed prequels. I do recommend that you watch them before this one but this anime is definitely a must see.
And finally!!!!! Number ONE!!!!
Wow..Gintama..I don't even know where to start. This show literally defines humor. This was by far the most epic win anime I have ever seen and that's saying a lot. This is a comedy, parody and action type anime with some of the most bad ass fight scenes in history. The comedy sense here is just pure genius, every episode makes me laugh my ass off, I'm not even joking. Some comedy animes are funny but will only make me smile but Gintama had me Laughing Out Loud. What really is unique about this anime is it's attempt to be serious(but don't get me wrong,when they're serious, they're dead serious), they can make a huge drama out of the stupidest situations... like the episode when they were stuck in the bathroom stall with no toilet paper (ep 79 i think). Now that was a win.This series makes fun of clichés from other animes and totally brings them back to life. I recommend Gintama to EVERYONE! But mostly people who have seen most of the popular animes like Naruto, Dragonball Z, Bleach and One Piece because like I said, Gintama is also a parody anime so it has a ton of references to these animes.

Oh! and another little something I learned from watching so much anime (yes i have no life) is that YOU NEVER JUDGE AN ANIME BY THE FIRST FEW EPISODES!!!!! This especially goes for Gintama. it starts out kinda slow but it gets better. I guarantee it. trust me. watch at least the first 10 episodes and you will fall in love.
